After some joyous Still, We Rise tunes, the fabulous Louisiana native Niya will take the stage. Niya was voted one of the "Women in Rock" in the local New Orleans paper while still just a Catholic high school girl by day and a "Rock Star" by night. Niya writes songs that are a beautiful, soulful slap in the face.

Sensory friendly concerts are specifically designed for individuals with sensory sensitivities and developmental disabilities, including those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. We turn the lights up and the sound down so individuals and their families can move around, dance, and sing along in a fun, judgement free environment.
Sensory Friendly events are designed to be an inclusive and welcoming experience for individuals impacted by intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their family and friends.
These events, while geared toward some of the unique needs of individuals with I/DD, will make our cultural events and experiences more welcoming for all. We welcome individuals of all ages and abilities at this performance.
Colorado native Emma Back celebrates release of debut album “Little World” with “Raise Up Your Eyes,” featuring acoustic duo Still, We Rise. Raise Up Your Eyes in an evening of multi-instrumental performance and community engagement that investigates how to heal personal and global conflict through bearing witness to issues of feminine power, racial and religious oppression, war and ancestry. Hailing from the rural hills of Vermont, Back brings her Avant-Folk, Live-Looping multi-instrumentalism and years of vocal and violin training to engage communities in dialogues of darkness and transformation through a series of songs and reflections from her debut album Little World (released May 24th 2018). Little World “soars on the strength of Back’s stunning vocals, sparse and compelling instrumentation, poetic lyrics and a captivating sound that conjures such singular artists as Andrew Bird, Rhiannon Giddens and Tori Amos while standing tall on its own unique merits.” (Tom Huntington, The Times Argus).
